Welcome to our historic New Orleans home at 842
Camp Street,
in the Arts and Museum District.
My wife, Jerrelyn Jessop
Madère,
used to operate a Bed and Breakfast named
Les Carillons, while I, Louis E."Lee"
Madère, Jr.
, practiced Law and Economics.
In 1996, we purchased our building, an exquisite three and one-half story, 1838 Greek
Revival town house, renovated in the Italianate style in 1870.
Located in the Arts and Museum District of the City's American Sector,
it contains 10,000 square feet of authentically restored urban living space that now accommodates
seven condominiums under the same name, Les Carillons.
We are fortunate to have an abundance of fantastic architectural details remaining from the
1830's and the 1870's, a spacious court yard, an atrium with robust tropical plants, a large
swimming pool, historic landmark designation, and ample parking.
More details and photos of the property are available.
